La Sonora is taking over the basement at Library Nineteen to bring you CUEVA DE LA CUMBIA - an underground cumbia fest featuring Yeison Landero, San Jacinto’s heredero de la cumbia, bringing live cumbia sabanera straight from Colombia to the dancefloor. Joining the lineup is Soroche, a DC and Baltimore-based band mixing cumbia, ska, punk, and folk with tambora, poetic lyrics, and a rebellious energy that transmogrifies modern and traditional sounds into a cultural border-crossing danceable alchemy.
