On Sunday, June 15th, we’re bringing Borikén to Stem & Vine with Side B: Baile Sol, A Downtown Day Party with a full-body, full-flavor experience where bomba meets vinyl and the block stays hot. This isn’t just an event — it’s a gathering for the papis who still know the words to every Cortijo joint, and the new school holding it down with fresh crates and even fresher fades.

On Saturday, June 14th, Tola’s Room presents Baile Luna—an intimate DJ experience and moonlit house party held at a secret location. This immersive night is more than just music—it’s a sonic tribute to the life and legacy of Edwin Delgado (1954–2013), told through the rhythms that shaped his era, from classic Nuyorican sounds to contemporary diasporic beats.

Get ready for a Sunday funday at Stem & Vine! We’re turning up the springtime vibes with live music from Downtown Tumbao and mouthwatering eats from Cocina Luchadoras.

Baltimore’s own Downtown Tumbao is bringing their borderless Latin beats mixing Jazz, Samba, Cumbia, Bolero, and Son into a sound where generations, rhythms, and cultures collide. Downtown Tumbao serves up the kind of electric energy that keeps your body moving and your soul smiling in full bloom.

And while you’re dancing it out, Cocina Luchadoras will be throwing down their signature Mexican flavors — fresh and packed with corazón.

From the coasts of Colombia to the heart of Baltimore — La Manga is a cultural identity laboratory rooted in the ancestral traditions of Bullerengue, Cumbia, and Tambora. Honoring Black and Indigenous oral traditions, this all-woman Brooklyn-based collective channels the pulse of Afro-Colombian drums—Tambor Alegre, Tambora, and Llamador—and celebrates life through the sacred art of bailes cantaos.

La Manga will be joined by Baltimore-based Konjur Collective and tattoo medicine artist Ojos Magnificos. Join us for a night of opening ancestral portals, radical forgeries of sound and collective healing.
