From the mountains of Medellín to the heart of Baltimore—Feria de las flores is blooming at Stem & Vine! Inspired by Colombia's City of Eternal Spring and its iconic celebration of silleteros and flower culture, join us for an afternoon of live music, poetry, floral art and community in full bloom. From vallenatos to cumbias to contemporary poetry and artesanías. Come dance, create and celebrate the roots and rhythms of Colombian traditions—reimagined with DMV flavor in Baltimore’s favorite plant-filled downtown oasis.
Feria de las flores will feature silleta-making with Rhythm and Bloom who will guide you through a participatory art-making experience honoring the tradition of the flower farmers and artists of Santa Elena. It will also include live musical and poetry performances by Gyzelle Garcia, La Marvela and District of Colombia, handcrafts by Colombian artisans Mola Embroidery and X40 Designs, delicious Colombian-style empanadas and bites by Empanadas by Abuela and custom cocktails by Stem & Vine.
