Tola’s Room presents Baile Luna—an intimate DJ experience and moonlit house party held at a secret location (disclosed upon ticket purchase). This immersive night is more than just music—it’s a sonic tribute to the life and legacy of Edwin Delgado (1954–2013) founder Christina Delgado’s father, told through the rhythms that shaped his era, from classic Nuyorican sounds to contemporary diasporic beats.
Designed to evoke nostalgia, connection, and cultural storytelling, Baile Luna is where history meets dance. This is more than a party—it’s an immersive cultural offering blending music, memory, art, and food. A full Puerto Rican summer experience, including flavors by BmoreBoricuas’ Cane de Sucre, Baile Luna is a place where the past and present dance together under moonlight.
We’re honored to welcome two visionary DJs from New York City:
BEMBONA, a Brooklyn-born, Puerto Rican-Panamanian artist and cultural curator, brings over a decade of experience uplifting Afro-diasporic communities through spiritually grounded, genre-spanning sets. Her work transcends entertainment—she crafts spaces of healing, resistance, and ancestral pride. With a résumé that includes Boiler Room, Lincoln Center, FANIA, and campaigns for Nike and Red Bull, Bembona moves dance floors with both fire and intention.
Sunny Cheeba, co-founder of Uptown Vinyl Supreme, is a Bronx-based DJ, archivist, and land steward who sees music and farming as interconnected paths to liberation. With roots in vinyl culture and sacred community spaces, she transforms dance floors into places of restoration. Her work blends analog nostalgia with cultural storytelling, creating soundscapes that are at once grounded, exploratory, and deeply soulful.
